a. Sue reported on the progress of getting a grant for staffer
b. Lisa reported on the status of the 2023 poster contest, too late to participate. Plan on
participating in 2023-2024 poster contest.
6. New Business
a. AFR (annual Financial Reports) for FY 2021-2022 Lukas Fleckenstein – confirming, no reports
needed due to low-income threshold
b. AFCD Area Meeting in Charlotte County – Speaker suggestions, Agenda suggestions – Sue submitted
suggestions, the board had no other suggestions.
c. 2023 Farm Bill – the board will discuss making a statement at the next meeting
