b. National Association of Conservation Districts also provides grants – to discuss
c. NRCS Local Working Group Survey is coming up in October 2023 – we need to plan a strategy to
include producers from our County to participate in this survey.
d. Continue work on strategic plan:
i. Elevator pitch – brief description of our organization 30 seconds long
ii. Detailed review of our mission statement. Does it concisely say what we want to achieve?
iii. Choose 3 priority items to work on right away. Suggested – awareness and outreach to local
growers
