a. 2023 Farm Bill – Sue wrote a paper proposing solutions and sent it to the USDA

a. Patrick Malley visited and is considering filling the position for seat 3
b. David reported on Arbor Day
c. National Farm Week is 11/22-11/29
d. NRCS proposing partial reimbursement for those attending meetings and/or trainings
e. No progress on researching Ad Valorem tax available to CSWCD
f. EQIP and CSP funding has increased each year, and extra funds were made available due to natural
disaster
g. Discussed combined meeting AFCD and NRCS in Sept. from 25th to 27th. partial payments for room and
mileage in negotiations
